Jean is the Partner leading the firm’s advisory solutions in France.
With 30 years of accounting and finance experience, Jean has deep knowledge in complex accounting, international financial reporting, capital markets and transaction advisory in international environments.
With experience assisting in large public and privately held companies navigate their most complex technical accounting, transaction accounting and financial reporting needs, Jean has extensive financial services knowledge and a background as a trusted counsel, advising C-suite executives on deals ranging in size up to several billion euros in committed capital.
He’s also led public company readiness exercises and capital markets (IPOs, reverse-mergers, rights/debt issues, de-SPAC, etc.) transactions.
Before joining CFGI, Jean was a Partner at PwC France, where he created and led the capital markets and accounting advisory team focusing on financial services clients. During his career at PwC, Jean led many cross-border and cross-services teams, while also working three years in New York City, and one year in Luxembourg as capital markets leader.
Prior to his tenure as a PwC Partner, Jean was a CFO and COO in public and PE-owned insurance groups, an executive committee and board member, where he managed all financial operations and successfully business partnered with CEOs in turnaround situations.
He holds a Master of Management degree from Audencia Business School in Nantes, France and is a Certified Public Accountant in New Hampshire.
