Matthew is a Partner in CFGI’s Transaction Advisory practice, providing operations and technology platform readiness, buy-side and sell-side diligence, carve-out, integration, and transition services services for over 28 years.
Matt’s skills include pre-transaction platform assessment and readiness; operations and technology diligence; diligence management; carve-out planning and management; integration planning and management; and transition services development and management. He has industry experience in Business/Professional Services; Consumer Products; Insurance; Life Sciences, Healthcare & Biotechnology; Manufacturing/Distribution; Pharmaceutical/Pharmacy; and Technology & Software.
While at CFGI, Matt has primarily worked on a wide variety of pre-transaction, pre-close, and post-close M&A engagements across multiple industries. His transaction experience includes platform acquisitions and rollups with combined revenues of between $100M and $8B, post-merger integration, restructuring, and turnaround efforts for companies with revenues of up to $5B, and platform assessment and enhancement engagements for operating or portfolio companies with revenues of between $25M and $750M.
Matt previously held Principal and Executive Director roles with Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton and was responsible for leading all aspects of operations and technology diligence and follow-on enhancement engagements. Immediately prior to joining CFGI, Matt provided services directly and on behalf of CFGI via his own firm, Pathfinder Advisors LLC. Matt holds dual US and EU (Austrian) citizenship and can provide service in both without restrictions.
Matt has a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and International Relations from Hampshire College. He is a member of the Institue of Management Consultants and the Association for Corporate Growth.
