Chris Morales is the Director of Business Development at CFGI, partnering with accounting & finance teams at Emerging Growth Companies (EGC’s) across a variety of industries. Chris is responsible for leading strategic initiatives to drive growth and cultivate valuable partnerships for the company.
Prior to his current role, Chris was in CFGI’s Accounting Advisory practice, working with both private and public companies. Chris also served as CFGI’s subject matter expert for the capitalization of software development costs (ASC 350-40). Chris has significant experience filling numerous interim management roles, specifically in the software and media & entertainment sectors. His experience includes audit & IPO readiness, financial reporting optimization, and various technical accounting matters, including stock-based compensation and revenue recognition.
Chris began his career at Deloitte in their Assurance practice and has also served as the Controller and Interim-CFO for an additive manufacturing company specializing in aerospace & defense. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science and subsequently an MBA from Providence College. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
