Matt is based in Atlanta and serves as a Partner at CFGI, the largest global non-audit accounting advisory firm, leading CFGI’s carve-out and integration management support practices, the operations and technology due diligence practice, and support cross-border transactions. Prior to joining CFGI in 2022, Matt held executive consulting positions with Coopers & Lybrand, Ernst & Young, and Grant Thornton, and ran his own firm providing similar services to professional services organizations on an outsourced basis (including CFGI) for over twelve years. Matt holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Russian Language and International relations and has worked on over 400 M&A transactions across the globe over the past 28 years. During that time Matt has played numerous leadership roles in the evaluation, planning, management, and execution of carve-outs for both buyers and sellers as well as planning, management and execution on post-merger integrations for multiple buyers.
